basic biography
Dr. Robert Emlyn Havard was born in 1901. He is also known as "U.Q." or the "Useless Quack",
and "Humphrey" which Hugo Dyson once called him by mistake and it stuck. He was Catholic and a
physician. He occasionally helped Lewis with clinical technical details in his writings but did not
particularly write anything himself. He was simply well-liked by the group and an excellent conversationalist.
